A story of an Artist with a disorder called SMA – Spinal Muscular Atrophy
Pranjali Udanshiv, aged 19 years, is the eldest child of her parents. She was able to sit, crawl and stand with support until the age of 10 months.
By the age of 18 months, she gradually stopped progressing in terms of milestones. This was a difficult time for her parents during which they visited many doctors none of whom could help in her diagnosis. At the age of 3, she was diagnosed as SMA(SPINAL MUSCULAR ATROPHY) Type 2 at Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai.
At present, she’s completely dependent for all her daily activities and is totally bedridden. She has often suffered from severe respiratory infections but has fortunately survived all of them.
She is blessed with a unique talent for painting.

Her muscles are weak but she is strong willed, happy,positive, intelligent and has an exceptionally high IQ. Requesting the Government and the private sector to help her.
