Taal Se Taal – India’s first ever Inclusive Online Musical Instrument Playing Competition

DRZYA is launching India’s first ever nationwide inclusive online musical instrument playing competition. This competition is open to the differently abled and abled. An initiative of the Drzyashakti Trust, this competition aims to bring the best of musical talents among both the differently abled and the abled on a single platform thereby breaking the barriers of disabilities in the field of music. This competition is sponsored by Children Reunited LLP, a foundation that is aimed at rescuing the street children and is headed by Mr. Hariharan S, a Mumbai based businessman, philanthropist and author of the book ‘Runaway Children’. Chief Guest of the online Grand Finale is Padmashri Dr. Resul Pookutty, Oscar, BAFTA, CAS & MPSE, National and State honours recipient. The competition has eminent personalities as judges like Anand Milind, the famous music composer duo, Mr. Ramakrishnan H, one of the top differently abled achievers of India, State Kalaimamani award recipient, singer and percussionist and Mr. Sandeep Thakur, India’s favourite violinist and a heart throb of YouTube viewers with over 1.60 lakh subscribers.

If you play Keyboard, Harmonium, Tabla, Dholak, Mridangam, Guitar, Sitar, Veena, Violin, Flute , Drums and Piano you can participate in this competition. There are two age groups under the differently abled and abled category – Under 20 and above 20. Five winners will be chosen from each age group under both categories who will win cash prize of Rs 2000 each. These winners, in the true spirit of inclusivity will then compete under a common platform for the top honours on a live platform on December 3^rd, The World Disability Day.
