Ameer Ulla Siddiqui, popularly known as Rider Ameer, is an Orthopaedic Handicapped (PPRP) person. Ameer from New Delhi currently works as a Computer Officer at UGC-HRDC (Govt. of India) New Delhi. He earlier worked as a Software Expert in Ministry of Agriculture (Govt. of India) New Delhi , and as a Computer Engineer at Delhi Development Authority (Govt. of India) New Delhi.

With an impressive Academic back ground of MBA, MCA and a M.Phil , he has enrolled to pursue a PhD.

Being a Person with Disability, he has remained focussed at spreading awareness and promoting Inclusion. He has been working in the Disability segment for more than 20 years , and has achieved numerous achievement awards and felicitation certificates. Though focussing on empowerment, he has been very active in reaching out to PwD for delivering help and assistance.

During the current period of lockdown , Ameer and his team have reached out to many families in and around New Delhi. He and his team were distributing Hand Sanitizers and Masks to many. Food, groceries, medicines, and financial assistance of Rs.1000/- was provided to 50 families.

Eagle Specially Abled Riders , as Ameer’s Riders Team is called was providing lunch and Dinner from 1st April to 17th May 2020, to around 50 families. Apart from this , one time financial support of Rs 7000 for ration and other things has been provided to 20 Disabled Families of Delhi.     

Ameer has been very active in many areas connected with Disabilities. Apart from participating in many events and winning Awards and Certificates, his main areas of focus have been Empowerment and Inclusion.

He has been active in Polling Duties and  in a first-of-its-kind initiative, a polling booth (PS-69) managed exclusively by differently abled officials was set up at an MCD primary school in South Delhi’s Madangir. It was also visited by delegates from Myanmar.

He has titled himself as Rider Ameer because of his love for Riding his Retrofitted Scooter , with which he has clocked more than 50000 kms till date.

He has been conducting Accessible Awareness Rides since 2013 , and his Eagle Specially Abled Riders Team have conducted long awareness rides every year.

Ameer was Awarded by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal for World Longest Accessible Awareness Ride on the ‘Importance of Education for Diffretly Abled” Delhi-Mumbai- Delhi and covered 3500 km distance by Retrofitted Scooty between 1st October to 15th October, 2019.


Organised by Eagle Specially Abled Riders the World’s Longest Accessible Awareness Ride is on the Importance of Education for Differently Abled to enhance and empower their personality and confidence.

Ameer was the Ride Coordinator , and as told by him , Limca Book of Records and India Book of Records have accepted their proposal to include the ride for the records. This is the World’s Longest Accessible Awareness Ride on Retrofitted scooty covering 3500 kilometers.

Cultural exchange also adds value to lives by inspiring new forms of artistic expression.

Through Ride for Unity, the culture, behavior, belief and way of living  of  disabled  people of different countries is to be unanimously exchanged.
